Experience the hugely anticipated multicultural celebration along with thousands of patrons seeking to retain the rich and diverse Caribbean and Jerk cultures and traditions thriving in Philadelphia and adjoining areas.
The aroma of jerk cuisine, roast fish, curry, mannish water, roti, bake and salt fish, and various other succulent Caribbean culinary specialties will tickle your senses. Add to that the pulsating sounds of Reggae and you could easily mistake Fairmount Park for for a Caribbean capital city, say Kingston, Port of Spain, or Georgetown.
It’s a family friendly festival so your kids can enjoy the actives, games and stalls in the kidzone! Children 12 and under are absolutely free! Come out and enjoy the face painting, souvenirs, arts, crafts, and of course the delicious jerk cuisine.
Plus, many Reggae stars will be performing top quality live entertainment on the outdoor state. Iconic dancehall superstar Beenie Man along with veteran reggae songbird “Sanchez” are confirmed performers.
